monkey bread... the cassandra version

What you need:

Sugar, Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, 1 stick butter, 1 can of buttermilk biscuits.

Step 1: Make Cinnamon Sugar Mixture, to taste.. (pretty much put 2 teaspoons of cinnamon in a 1/2 cup of sugar and then stir it and keep adding one or the other until it tastes good to you).

Step 2: take biscuits out of can and cut each one into 4 pieces.

Step 3: melt butter in pan and add 3/4 cup brown sugar, blend, and let boil for 5 minutes and let cool a little.
Step 4: Shake cut up biscuits around in a little bag or a little tupperware container until they are covered in cinnamon sugar.
Step 5: put the biscuits layered on top of each other in a greased pan

Step 6:
Pour brown sugar mixture over the biscuit pieces...

Then bake at 350ยบ for 35-40 minutes.

after that, pull them out and turn pan upside down onto plate/platter/serving tray.. dump the monkey bread out.. pull apart to eat.

Aaron says, it's sinful.
I agree, as I have eaten about 1/2 of the pan now. hah.

chocolate cream pie in the easiest fashion

after my recent cinnamon roll flop i have decide to start making things my younger brother could make they are so easy.. (no offense Micah)..

This is a delicious, summery cream pie and it's also low in calories.. and did I say, it's delicious?

okay..

You need 1 and 3/4 cup Milk, 2 boxes of chocolate pudding, 1 oreo cookie, 1 graham cracker crust from store (I got the chocolate kind), and a thing of cool whip.

1. Put pudding mix in bowl with milk and mix (this is easier with hand mixer, than with wire whisk.. as you might imagine)..

Mix until it looks like this:

2. add 1/2 container of cool whip and mix

3. pour into crust, and smooth out..

4. then add the rest of the cool whip topping

5. and crumble the oreo around the edges for artistic affect. =D hah.

no bake deliciousness

EASIEST....

COOKIES.....

EVER....

and one of my all time favorites..
Here I have step by step No Bake Choco-Peanut Butter Cookies.... just for you!

First put 1 3/4 cups sugar, 1 stick butter, 1/2 cup milk and 4 TB of cocoa in a pan.. stir it around a little and LEAVE IT THERE, until you have measured out..

3 cups of oatmeal and 1/2 cup of peanut butter..You'll see why later.
Set these aside.

Bring chocolate mixture to a boil, ensuring that ingredients are mixed in. When it gets to a full boil.. Time 1 minute (exactly... and don't start before it boils.. Start WHEN it's at a full boil), and then..
turn off heat and remove pan... quickly (rapidly... this is where having pre measured ingredients means the world).. add peanut butter and oatmeal.

Stir it around... mix it in.. it should be wet.. but not super drippy... Moldable.. seeming

then drop Tablespoon full heaps of this deliciousness onto wax paper, plates, foil... or your countertop, so you can lick it off later.

let them cool for a few..
then enjoy with MILLLLLK. =D

My It's Spring, so Where's the good weather.. dinner

This really has nothing to do with baking, but as of late this typeractive compunicator has become rather obsessive about putting up every food item cooked. hah.
And I sit around thinking of what my next thing will be.
I'm thinking.. a EASY chocolate cream pie... heh..
anyway.. here's my dinner.. Garlic Butter pasta, grilled zucchini, broccoli, cauliflower, and yellow peppers.... with a side of strawberries..
I was so happy to get fresh fruit and veggies on the street. It's the first sign that spring is really here.
chopping the veggies...
the beginning of the grilling
pouring the garlic butter on

the finished plate. I guess the noodles weren't as done as I had originally thought.. but I still ate some.
